Skrill at X3000
By Henrik Åström, casino analyst — updated August 2026
Skrill is the classic e-wallet on gambling sites, and its appeal at X3000 is a specific one: it puts a buffer between your bank and the casino without costing you the speed a bank connection gives. Money sits in the wallet, moves to the balance in seconds, and comes back in a couple of hours. It is the second fastest payout on the payments hub after Trustly, and unlike Trustly it works regardless of which bank you are with.
How to deposit with Skrill
- Make sure the wallet is funded first. A Skrill balance of zero cannot be pushed into anything, and topping up the wallet is a separate transaction with its own timing.
- Open the X3000 cashier and select Skrill from the deposit methods.
- Enter an amount from 200 kr upwards.
- Log in to Skrill in the window that opens and confirm the payment.
- The casino balance updates instantly, and you land back in the cashier with the new figure showing.
How to withdraw to Skrill
Choose the withdrawal tab, pick Skrill, and request at least 200 kr. The operator quotes 1–3 hours from approval to the funds appearing in the wallet, which in practice means a payout requested at lunchtime is spendable the same afternoon. The destination is the wallet you deposited from — closed-loop applies here as it does everywhere else. One point worth understanding before you plan around it: the money arriving in Skrill is not yet money in your bank. Moving it onward from the wallet to a Swedish account is a second step, on Skrill own schedule and Skrill own pricing, and that leg is outside anything X3000 controls.

Limits and fees
X3000 adds no commission in either direction. The platform ceilings apply as normal — 50 000 kr per withdrawal, 200 000 kr per rolling month across all methods, with the monthly figure rising at higher VIP levels. The cost to watch with a wallet is currency: if your Skrill balance is held in euros while the casino account is in kronor, a conversion happens on the way in and again on the way out, at a spread of roughly 1,5–2,5 % each time. Holding the wallet in kr removes both. Note as well that a Skrill deposit is excluded from some promotions at many operators, so check the terms on the bonus terms page before funding a bonus with it.
When something goes wrong
The name on the wallet does not match the account. This is the one that costs people days. Verification compares the name registered at X3000 with the name on the Skrill profile, character for character, and a nickname or a maiden surname is enough to stop a payout. Fix the mismatch at the wallet before the first withdrawal, not during it.
The deposit fails with sufficient funds showing. Usually the wallet balance is in a different currency than the payment request, or Skrill has flagged the merchant category. The wallet support desk resolves this one, not the casino.
The payout is approved but the wallet is empty. Check the Skrill transaction log rather than the balance headline — funds occasionally land as pending on the wallet side. If nothing appears at all after three hours, live chat replies in about 2–5 minutes.
