Table Games at X3000

The table section is the software half of the classics: the same rules as the live floor, resolved instantly by a random number generator, at whatever speed you choose. That makes it the cheapest place in the lobby to learn a game, because nobody is waiting on you and there is no dealer setting the tempo. It is also the part of the catalogue where the maths is fully published, so you can compare games honestly instead of by feel.
House edge for each game
House edge is the share of every stake the game keeps over the long run. It is fixed by the rules of the variant, not by luck or by how you bet, and it is the only number worth comparing across different games.
| Game | House edge | Comment |
|---|---|---|
| Blackjack, basic strategy | about 0,5 % | The lowest edge in the section, but only if you play the chart |
| Video poker, full-pay tables | about 0,5–2 % | Depends entirely on the paytable printed on the machine |
| Baccarat, Banker bet | about 1,06 % | Best bet on the table, commission already included |
| Baccarat, Player bet | about 1,24 % | No commission, marginally worse than Banker |
| European roulette | 2,70 % | One zero on the wheel |
| Sic bo, big and small | 2,78 % | The exotic dice bets are far more expensive |
| American roulette | 5,26 % | The double zero nearly doubles the cost |
| Baccarat, Tie bet | about 14 % | The worst bet available — avoid it |
Roulette: why the zeros decide everything
European roulette has 37 pockets, one of them a zero. A straight-up number pays 35 to 1 while the true odds are 36 to 1, and that single-pocket gap is the entire 2,70 % edge. American roulette adds a double zero, making 38 pockets against the same 35 to 1 payout, and the edge jumps to 5,26 %. Nothing else about the table changes: same wheel, same bets, same chips, nearly twice the cost per spin. If both are open, there is no argument for the American layout.
Blackjack
You play against the dealer and aim to finish closer to 21 without passing it. Face cards count ten, an ace is one or eleven, and ten plus ace is a natural. Each round you hit, stand, double or split, and the dealer follows a fixed rule — usually drawing to 17. Because your decisions matter, blackjack is the one game here where skill moves the edge: correct basic strategy holds it near 0,5 %, while playing on instinct pushes it several times higher. Check the payout for a natural before sitting down; 3:2 is standard and 6:5 quietly costs you more than every other rule combined.
Baccarat
Three bets, no decisions: Player, Banker or Tie. Cards are dealt to a fixed drawing pattern and the hand closest to nine wins. Banker is the mathematically correct bet even after the commission, Player is a whisker behind, and Tie is a trap that costs around 14 % despite the attractive payout. There is no strategy beyond bet selection, which is precisely why the game is popular.
Video poker and dice
Video poker is a draw game against a paytable rather than a dealer: you are dealt five cards, hold what you want and redraw the rest. The edge depends on which paytable the machine runs, so read it before playing — two machines that look identical can differ by more than a percentage point. Dice games such as sic bo settle three dice per round; the simple big and small bets cost 2,78 %, while the specific triples and totals carry double-digit edges in exchange for their headline payouts.
Why table games only count 10 % of wagering
Wagering contribution is set by the house edge, not by preference. Slots keep several percent of every stake and therefore count 100 %; table games and roulette keep around one to three percent, so they count 10 %; video poker with a near-neutral paytable counts nothing at all. Clearing a 35x bonus at 10 % means staking ten times more than the requirement suggests, which is why the table section is a place to play with your own money rather than a place to work off a bonus. The wagering page works through the arithmetic in kronor.
